European Cooking Day

The children had a brilliant day full of cooking and food tasting.
We made an assortment of food from across Europe.
France: Escargot and Pain Au Chocolat/Croissants
Turkey: Sucuk, a spiced beef sausage
Greece: Chicken Souvlaki, pitta breads and tzatziki
Russia: Varenye, a strawberry compote
Belgium: Waffles
Italy: Bruschetta
Anglo Saxon Day 11th December
The children had an absolutely fantastic day with the Historic Workshop.
We learnt all about battle tactics, completed an archaeological dig, looked at and held artefacts as well as playing Anglo Saxon games.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
