Every week children will be expected to complete 10 minutes of Times Table practise on Times Table Rock Stars in Garage Mode. This is where specific tables are set for those who are continuing to consolidate their tables knowledge and mixed tables for those to help increase the speed and accuracy of recall.
By Year 6 children should have rapid recall (within 6 seconds) of all their tables up to 12x as well as the inverse. Children will be tested on mixed tables every Friday and after Christmas they will be tested on the inverse as well as mixed tables.
Children who are not secure in all their times tables will be given support daily in class during morning work. They will then be tested in small groups on Fridays and once secure learning will move on.
