Home Learning

Homework will be set every Friday and will be due back in on a Wednesday. Homework is set to consolidate the weeks learning and not as a new topic; however, if your child is struggling with the homework then they should bring it in on Monday and I will happily go through it with them during lunch.

Spellings will be set every Friday and will follow a 'word family, pattern or be homophones. These will also be tested the following Friday.

There is a link to the Oxford Dictionary on here should one not be available at home; however, one of the skills the children must have as part of the National Curriculum is the ability to look up words in a dictionary (we do practise this skill in class).

By Year 6 the children should know all their times tables up to 12 x and the inverse. Children will be tested on mixed tables every Friday.
