Children are expected to read to an adult 4x per week (please record this in the reading record book), practise their spellings and times tables (in short bursts each evening) and complete homework that is set on a Friday and due in on a Wednesday. 

If homework is not completed, then it will have to be completed during Wednesday lunchtime. 

Children can use both Spelling Shed (found on EdShed https://www.edshed.com/en-gb/login/school) and Times Table Rockstars.to practise their spellings and times tables online. 

Children are set 10 minutes of times table practise in Garage mode on Times Table Rockstars ttrockstars.com. They simply need to play on Garage mode for 10 minutes across the week to complete the session. Alternatively, you can access 'Jamming' mode and select the number of questions you would like to complete and for what times table. We recommend to remain at the suggested times table until advised otherwise as this is what they are tested on.

Home learning

We have had some excellent engagement in home learning over the holidays and weekends. We have seen some fabulous World War One posters/ drawings/ booklets, as well as creations to do with our Paddington topic. We love to see all your hard work!
