P. E 

Please ensure that your child’s P.E kit is named and kept in a named PE bag. Kits will be sent home at the end of each term and should be returned to school within the first week of the new term.

PE days: Mondays
Forest School: Thursdays

PE Kit Requirements:                             

• White t-shirt

• Black or navy jogging bottoms                      

• Trainers

• Socks (if your child wears tights in winter, please include a spare pair in their PE bag

Weather Considerations:

• Children should bring a warm jacket, jumper, or layers for Forest School and outdoor PE in colder weather.

• In wet or muddy conditions, old clothes and waterproofs are recommended for Forest School activities.

• Having the correct kit and clothing helps children participate safely and confidently in all activities, whatever the weather!

Important reminders:

• Earrings must be removed for PE sessions.

• Long hair should be tied back.

Spellings  

Spelling lists are sent home on Friday and tested the following Friday.

Spelling activities are available on EdShed for children to access, as well as in their purple spelling book. Please use the purple spelling book to practice spellings with your child at home.

EdShed usernames and passwords are inside the purple spelling book for easy access.

Homework 

Homework is sent home every Friday and is due back the following Thursday.

Homework may be based on Maths or English, depending on what we have focused on during the week and the areas where children need extra support.

Homework will be sent home in a big yellow book, which should be returned to school each week so it can be reviewed.
