    • The School Day

    The school gates open at 8:40 a.m. until 8:55 a.m. for a soft start, when the children make their way to their classrooms allowing children to complete morning tasks.

    All lessons begin promptly at 8:55 a.m at the start of the school day.

    Pupils who are late and arrive once the gates are locked at 8:55 a.m. should report to the school office.

    The school gates open at 3p.m. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 finish at 15:10pm and Years 3 – 6 finish the school day at 15:15pm.

    The total time the school is open amounts to in a typical week:

    Reception and Key Stage 1 is 32.5 hours per week;

    Key Stage 2 is 32 hours and 55 minutes per week.
