Term 1

Polar Adventures 

We will be learning all about the Arctic and Antarctic, comparing the similarities and differences, polar animals and locating continents and oceans on the world map.  

Term 2

Tin Hats and Lots of Rats 

We will be learning all about World War One including the importance of remembrance, the animals involved in the war, the Shorts Brothers and Walter Tull.   

Term 3

Paddington

In Term 3, we will be looking at the book A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond.

We will be using Paddington's love of marmalade sandwiches to discuss balanced diets in Science. Comparing Peru with the UK will be our focus in Geography. 

Term 4

Off With Their Heads!

For term 4, we will be looking at the Tudors. 

Term 5

Fire! Fire!

Term 5 brings us to The Great Fire of London. 

Term 6

Enchanted Woodland

Our final term sees us looking at fairy tales.
