Tapestry & Class Dojo

Tapestry & Class Dojo

St Helen’s CEP School uses an online learning journal called ‘Tapestry’. This is an interactive learning journal which shows children’s learning through photos, videos and notes, linking their learning to our curriculum. This is something that we also invite parents/carers to use. You will be able to see 'wow' moments in your child's learning journey and also share your own moments from home.

By logging on with a secure username and password you will be able to view all of your child’s observations, photographs and videos from their time in school. This can be accessed via a computer or smart device. This will enable you to follow your child’s progress closely and reflect upon achievements with your child. You can add comments so that staff find out about which activities your child really enjoyed and the learning they get up to at home. Staff will reference your child’s learning to the Early Years Foundation Stage profile so you will know which area of learning your child's learning or activity links to. All of this information is stored on a highly secure server which is monitored closely.

If you are having trouble logging into Tapestry or need support using the website, please don't hesitate to speak to one of us.

Class Dojo

Within Reception we also use Class Dojo. Class Dojo is a class communication platform that teachers and families can use to share what is being learnt in the classroom through photos, videos and messages.
