Information for Term 3 - People Who Help Us 

In Term 3 we will be learning all about People Who Help Us. We will have visits from different professions to help us learn about to stay safe and what we would need to do in an emergency. 

In Phonics we will continue to learn new sounds to support our reading. These will be: oo,oo,ar, ur, or, ow, oi, ear, air, ure, er and ow. 

We will learn the harder to read and spell words: they, all, are, ball, tall, when, what. 

In Maths we will continue to explore subitising and solve real world mathematical problems with numbers up to 5. We will also continue to explore one more and one less, as well beginning to select, rotate and manipulate shapes. 

We will explore jobs now and jobs in the past and explore similarities and differences between these.
