This week George has chosen to send in a photo of his snail family picture and the other is him helping out by feeding his brother. Well done George. :)
Elsie’s been enjoying the Purple Mash work on snails and we’ve been talking about VE Day and looking forward to a front garden picnic for it. She has worked hard on writing and has also been reading every day. We played a game of hunting key words around the house and Elsie loved it so much we’ve played it every day! Brilliant Elsie, well done. I will give you the next set of key words next week. Keep it up. :)
Phoebe has drawn a picture of a snail and been cooking biscuits with her Dad.
Both Alice & Oliver have been keen to help all the doctors and nurses during this difficult time. With one of their Mummy's friends being a nurse and hearing how stressful things are they asked if they could help. So we decided to reach out to the local community to see if there were others that wanted to help too. There was quite a few!! So we collected donations of tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits, hand creams and moisturisers. These were passed onto an Intensive Care Unit for all the nurses and doctors as a care package to help them through this difficult time and have something to look forward to. Since the care package has been delivered we have also made 30 scrub bags for their dirty clothes to go and will be passing them onto the same unit this weekend.
Oliver has been super busy the past few weeks helping plant flowers and veggies in the garden. He has particularly enjoyed the mini-beasts homework and has been keeping a keen eye for any whilst helping.
Theodore is having trouble picking his favourite book to write a sentence from! He wants to write a sentence from each book and make his own. Mummy doesn't think this will last long.
Harry made a home for a ladybird and has learnt to ride his bike without stabilisers 😊 very proud moment. He loved watching the video you put online and keeps asking to watch it bless him. Well done Harry, I am very proud of you. Mrs Bennett 😊
Henry is enjoying learning about snails this week, and had fun decorating his paper plate snail. He's also been getting on well with the maths activities set.
Phoebe has made a snail and she made her Dad biscuits today .... Also this is the cookie/ice cream stall she made at Dad's work unit and she likes to play shops .
George has worked hard today, researching and building his snail habitat with his Dad,to look after for 5 days. As you can see he's done a pretty fine job! In the picture with the lid on (they made the holes with a bottle opener),he's halfway through a song he heard on YouTube Kids "the snail song". Fantastic work George, well done. :)
Phoebe has been very busy at home, here are some of the activities she has been completing. Brilliant Phoebe, well done. :)
