Learning Through Play & Resources
As a guide, choose two 'Learning Through Play' activities each day, alongside the daily Phonics and Maths tasks. Daily learning should also include name writing and/or handwriting, reading (including adult read stories) and outdoor learning (see suggestions in the resources below).

Can you learn the alphabet song? Remember that in this song we sing 'letter names' - can you match them to the letter sounds you know?

Tuesday Maths
Watch the Session 1 video on the link and complete the activities below.
Can you make 'Five Little Men' using tin foil to help you sing the song as you count backwards from five?

Can you record what's happening as you take away by writing a number sentence? Remember how to use our mean 'minus' symbol who takes things away!

Can you sound out and write these words?

Have a go at reading these sentences:
Jack and Jill jog up on the hill.

A man can jog to get fit.

Can you use plates or bowls to put different amounts of objects in from 0-5? Can you put these amounts in order? What does zero look like? How is it different to the other numbers?

Can you find these sounds in any of your stories at home?
Once you have re-capped your new sounds, practise the sounds we learned at school last term by choosing one activity mat to complete.
