Tapestry

Over the past few years, St Helen’s CEP School has been using an online learning journal called ‘Tapestry’. This is an interactive learning journal which shows children’s learning through photos, videos and notes, linking their learning to our curriculum. As we enter the new academic year, we are inviting parents and carers to also log into Tapestry.

By logging on with a secure username and password you will be able to view all of your child’s observations, photographs and videos from their time in school. This can be accessed via a computer or smart device. This will enable you to follow your child’s progress closely and reflect upon achievements with your child. You can add comments so that staff find out about which activities your child really enjoyed and the learning they get up to at home. Staff will reference your child’s learning to the Early Years Foundation Stage profile so you will know which area of learning your child is achieving in and the age-band they were working in for that activity. All of this information is stored on a highly secure server which is monitored closely.

New EYFS Curriculum 

We are currently waiting for Tapestry to update their system to the new EYFS curriculum. As soon as this happens we can begin linking your child's learning to the curriculum online for you to see.
